Steam Launch

ZENONIA 1’s Steam launch date is August 31, 2026. Com2us Holdings and CFK position the build as a restoration of Gamevil’s first ZENONIA adventure: Regret, three classes, five seals, hunger, weight, day-night, and good versus evil, with PC input and UI rebuilt so a monitor is not a stretched phone. This page is the launch sheet. Systems live in Guides. Opinion lives in the review.

Date and store facts

Steam listed the game as coming soon with an August 31, 2026 lock. Com2us Holdings posted 12 AM PDT. Regional news copy mentioned a 15:00 timestamp in at least one store language. Use Steam’s own countdown if those disagree by an hour. The app ID is 4538960. A separate demo app exists (listed in Steam’s demo field as 4733680). Features called out on the store: single-player, Steam achievements, family sharing, full controller support, keyboard-only option, custom volume, save anytime.

Price was still described as to-be-announced in some regional posts. Do not copy a guessed number onto a friend’s chat. Open the store via the links hub.

Languages

Steam interface and subtitles: English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, French, German, Spanish (Spain), Russian, Portuguese (Brazil). This wiki writes English, Japanese, French, and German. Simplified Chinese and Russian are omitted here on purpose; the game still supports them.

Japanese store copy has used 記憶の糸 (“thread of memory”) next to ZENONIA 1. In English the store title is ZENONIA 1.

What the full build is supposed to contain

The August 2026 interview said the full version includes the complete story from where the demo left off to the conclusion of Regret’s journey. That means seals, swapped bosses, and endings — everything the walkthrough outlines. It also means the post-demo work: original-style double-tap dash, afterimage, UI readability, quest guidance, equipment comparison, combat feedback.

It does not mean a fourth class. It does not mean an online campaign. It does not mean hunger deleted. If those appear later, they will be patch notes, not launch-day assumptions.

Demo versus launch

The demo is the Adonis hour. Launch is the campaign. Progress carry-over should be confirmed in Steam’s own launcher text at unlock — do not assume a cloud save from Next Fest is a full-game file. Play the demo to test hardware and dash; play the full game for Pale and everything after. Demo guide.

Other platforms

Windows Steam is the launch platform. A Nintendo Switch version was described as in development in interviews. It is not the August 31, 2026 Steam event — details on the Nintendo Switch page. Original versions existed on iOS, Android, Windows Mobile, DSiWare, PSP, Zeebo, and Bada. Those are history, not this store page. The August interviews are summarized on Dev Team Interview.

How to prepare the week of launch

  1. Run the demo on the PC you will actually use. Specs: system requirements.
  2. Pick a class on the tier list so you are not deciding in the prologue.
  3. Skim controls and hunger.
  4. Keep the walkthrough closed until you leave Adonis if you want spoiler-light play.
  5. Join official Discord or Steam discussions from the links hub if you want patch hearsay from humans, not from this wiki inventing notes.

After unlock, this page should be updated from Steam news, not from memory. Until then, the accurate public sentence is the date, the demo, and the restoration pitch. For what changed versus 2008, read PC changes. For the calendar view, return to the updates hub.
